An unexpectedly hard shot by David Taveira in the 23rd minute of play forced Altares FC's goalkeeper Jairo Mansilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Jairo Mansilha throw himself and got hold of the ball when Albérico lacerda in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 24 played minutes Altares FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Bernardes. 27 minutes into the match, Laureano Malheiro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Altares FC's Jairo Mansilha. In the 55th minute, Amado Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Portugal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Altares FC to win.
