A collision led to AD FAFE getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jacinto Ponte hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Artur Caldas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, AD FAFE's Artur Caldas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Mansilha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of AD FAFE booed when Altares FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homero Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, AD FAFE's Juliano Azenha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Jairo Mansilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Sales, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Raul Sales received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jairo Mansilha came out and tried to block the shot, but Raul Sales slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 30th minute. Jairo Mansilha was a little too slow when Jacinto Ponte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 5-0. Thanks to some nice moves Artur Caldas could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Jairo Mansilha however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Noel Regueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Mansilha. That made the score 7-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, AD FAFE's Juliano Azenha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Mansilha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Altares FC defense, Raul Sales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Mansilha. The Altares FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Mansilha should have stopped the shot. Jairo Mansilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliano Azenha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Mansilha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juliano Azenha went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Caio Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a AD FAFE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caio Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Altares FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Caio Vasconcelos hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, AD FAFE's goalkeeper Filomeno Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Homero Simões. In the 83rd minute Juliano Azenha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Mansilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Juliano Azenha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Mansilha was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Paulo Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gonçalo Freire took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Mansilha. Jairo Mansilha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. Jairo Mansilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altares FC.
