In the 4th minute, Artur Gago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Fragua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Daniel Durães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Fontoura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Malheiro in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, SC Fragua's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Malheiro came free, but José Fontoura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Fontoura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albérico lacerda in the 17th minute of play. José Fontoura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Daniel Durães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Fontoura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Padilha in the 27th minute of the match. Zacarias Portugal made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Artur Gago sent off a good shot on target. Laureano Malheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Fontoura having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Fabiano Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Fontoura was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 42nd minute Lucílio Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Zacarias Portugal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Gago to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Festas during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Artur Gago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Portugal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, SC Fragua's goal looked a bit too open when Albérico lacerda came free, but José Fontoura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Queirós in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Raul Roriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabiano Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Armindo Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fragua's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Portugal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Fragua's Amado Ribas got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute, Fabiano Soares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Fragua's José Fontoura didn't even have to move. Armindo Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, SC Fragua's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Soares came free, but José Fontoura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, SC Fragua's goalkeeper José Fontoura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Malheiro. 90 minutes into the match, Laureano Malheiro notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of SC Fragua's José Fontoura. José Fontoura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Plácido Vieira hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
