Spectators: 7989 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) F.C. Valinor's Laureano Malheiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Balas F.C. were awarded a corner. Stoyo Kandev went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Matias Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Portugal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute of the match, Angel Cordarrel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zacarias Portugal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Angel Cordarrel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 17th playminute. In the 21st minute, Matias Aleixo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zacarias Portugal. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 24th minute Magne Hedman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Hedman in the 25th minute of play forced F.C. Valinor's goalkeeper Zacarias Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timóteo Fontoura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zacarias Portugal made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Angel Cordarrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balas F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 36th minute, Angel Cordarrel made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Portugal. F.C. Valinor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The supporters of F.C. Valinor booed when Balas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfírio Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Porfírio Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Aleixo in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Fabiano Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Madureira having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Balas F.C.'s Magne Hedman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Portugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Balas F.C.'s Krasimir Balakov was substituted for Magne Hedman. 62 minutes into the match, Timóteo Fontoura notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal. Zacarias Portugal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zacarias Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timóteo Fontoura in the 66th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Timóteo Fontoura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Krasimir Balakov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Portugal. F.C. Valinor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krasimir Balakov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 76th match minute, F.C. Valinor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Tomé to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Portugal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stoyo Kandev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Balas F.C. booed when F.C. Valinor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filinto Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stoyo Kandev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Cordarrel in the 81st minute of play forced F.C. Valinor's goalkeeper Zacarias Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, F.C. Valinor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Soares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Aleixo in the 85th minute of play forced F.C. Valinor's goalkeeper Zacarias Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Stoyo Kandev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zacarias Portugal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matias Aleixo took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Portugal. Zacarias Portugal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Cordarrel in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Balas F.C.'s Timóteo Fontoura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Portugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Balas F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
