But to his dismay, Sérgio Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Idalécio Mourão sped through Altares FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jairo Mansilha. Jairo Mansilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Altares FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Caio Vasconcelos hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Sérgio Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Mansilha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Adélio Macedo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Joaquim Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Mansilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Sérgio Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Mansilha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homero Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Varela got free with Jairo Mansilha in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Matias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Mansilha. That made the score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. Jairo Mansilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Varela in the 59th minute of play. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Joaquim Matias sped through Altares FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jairo Mansilha. 66 minutes into the match, Altares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Varela came free, but Jairo Mansilha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Lucena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Homero Simões's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Parampio Harammes's Sérgio Varela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Mansilha. That made the score 1-7 after 76 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Altares FC's Caio Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sérgio Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jairo Mansilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Parampio Harammes's Sérgio Varela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Mansilha. That made the score 1-8 after 86 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Parampio Harammes's Sérgio Varela got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match Adélio Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Lucena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Altares FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Parampio Harammes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
