In the 8th match minute, Stars Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Baía to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Zhao Xiang Xuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NoMoreMoneyForMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 13th minute, Hildeberto Viveiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Neves. In the 18th minute, NoMoreMoneyForMZ's Paulo Pinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Urbano Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Carmona was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Paulo Pinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Pinho really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 25 minutes into the game, Paulo Pinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Germano Carmona. Paulo Pinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Germano Carmona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Paulin in the 30th minute. Cândido Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Albuquerque in the 31st minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Zhao Xiang Xuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Germano Carmona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Américo Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, NoMoreMoneyForMZ's Jonathan Marino got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Américo Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Pinho took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Carmona. Germano Carmona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 59th minute, Zhao Xiang Xuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Carmona was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 61st minute, Albérico Bacelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Cesário Raminhos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germano Carmona showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Stars Academy booed when NoMoreMoneyForMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesário Raminhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Sobral. Paulo Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germano Carmona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, NoMoreMoneyForMZ's Urbano Gaitano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Carmona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 77 minutes of play, NoMoreMoneyForMZ's Zhao Xiang Xuan made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Carmona was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 80 minutes of play, NoMoreMoneyForMZ's Zhao Xiang Xuan made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. NoMoreMoneyForMZ had played much better football throughout.
