An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Vaz in the 13th minute of play forced keep Strong's goalkeeper Ashley Cordingley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ashley Cordingley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Vaz in the 14th minute of the match. Mateus Sacadura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute Mateus Sacadura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ashley Cordingley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Paulo Vilaverde sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and keep Strong's Ashley Cordingley didn't even have to move. Sport Clube Lusitania's Mateus Sacadura got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Sport Clube Lusitania's Ashley Cordingley threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diamantino Vaz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the match, keep Strong's goalkeeper Ashley Cordingley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diamantino Vaz. Ashley Cordingley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Pinhal in the 35th minute. Cristiano Pinhal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ashley Cordingley made a huge save. If Mateus Sacadura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Pinhal to make the kick off. Ashley Cordingley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Clube Lusitania. After 56 played minutes Sport Clube Lusitania got a freekick which was hit by Alcides Maciel. A collision led to keep Strong getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Basílio Maia hit a great ball. Cristiano Pinhal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Cordingley having to interfere. Ashley Cordingley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Pinhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Pinhal in the 78th minute of play forced keep Strong's goalkeeper Ashley Cordingley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Diamantino Vaz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of keep Strong's Ashley Cordingley. Sport Clube Lusitania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Pinhal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Pinhal in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ashley Cordingley saved keep Strong from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sport Clube Lusitania fully deserved thier win.
