Veniamin Rogalev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hélio Miguéis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Jankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ChicanaFC's zone, Maciej Jankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Miguéis came out of the goal and Maciej Jankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AJAX booed when ChicanaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Graça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Miguéis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Jankowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Maciej Jankowski sped through ChicanaFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélio Miguéis. Walery Hoffman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Veniamin Rogalev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hélio Miguéis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Jankowski in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to ChicanaFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alexandre Noronha hit a great ball. Hélio Miguéis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Jankowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ChicanaFC defense, Andre Blanchaert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Miguéis. The ChicanaFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Miguéis should have stopped the shot. Veniamin Rogalev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Valentim in the 32nd minute of play. Hélio Miguéis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Jankowski in the 35th minute of the match. Maciej Jankowski took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélio Miguéis. Hélio Miguéis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of ChicanaFC booed when AJAX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Kağan Güzir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walery Hoffman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Veniamin Rogalev made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, ChicanaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Blanchaert came free, but Hélio Miguéis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veniamin Rogalev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Valentim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ChicanaFC's Hélio Miguéis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Blanchaert in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andre Blanchaert to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Rui Graça threw the ball into play from the sideline. AJAX's Bedri Aydıntan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ChicanaFC's Hélio Miguéis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Blanchaert in the 68th minute of play. Hélio Miguéis made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mikolaj Filipkowski sent off a good shot on target. Veniamin Rogalev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Valentim in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Blanchaert in the 78th minute of play forced ChicanaFC's goalkeeper Hélio Miguéis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maciej Jankowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hélio Miguéis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Walery Hoffman struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Veniamin Rogalev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ChicanaFC. After 86 played minutes AJAX got a freekick which was hit by Andre Blanchaert. After 95 played minutes AJAX got a freekick which was hit by Christoph Creemers. 96 minutes into the match, ChicanaFC's Marek Fudalej sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Veniamin Rogalev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AJAX played a much better game than ChicanaFC and deserved their victory. The ChicanaFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
