Spectators: 6501 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 0) Lisandro Castelo Branco came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Benfica VN's Christos Koumantarakis. But to his dismay, Christos Koumantarakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 5 minutes of play, Benfica VN's Christos Koumantarakis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Castelo Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Benfica VN's Urban Myr in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lara's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Urban Myr put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Christos Koumantarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benfica VN's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Koumantarakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Castelo Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Urban Myr's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Castelo Branco was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Benfica VN's zone, Aparício Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Pinho came out of the goal and Aparício Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Christos Koumantarakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco. Lara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christos Koumantarakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After some careless play in the Lara defense, Christos Koumantarakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco. The Lara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Castelo Branco should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Urban Myr sped through Lara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco. In the 39th minute, Abel Lamego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Castelo Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Christos Koumantarakis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute Abel Lamego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Castelo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Urban Myr struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Lisandro Castelo Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benfica VN. Lisandro Castelo Branco was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Christos Koumantarakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christos Koumantarakis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. After a rather tough play, Benfica VN's Máximo Toscano got a free kick in the 58th minute. Aparício Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lisandro Castelo Branco came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Benfica VN's Urban Myr. But to his dismay, Urban Myr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. In the 67th minute, Abel Lamego reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lisandro Castelo Branco. The goal made the score 0-11. With his leg Lisandro Castelo Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Benfica VN's Urban Myr fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Lamego in the 74th minute of play forced Lara's goalkeeper Lisandro Castelo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Abel Lamego dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lisandro Castelo Branco, 0-12. 86 minutes into the match, Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Lamego came free, but Lisandro Castelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Koumantarakis in the 90th minute of play forced Lara's goalkeeper Lisandro Castelo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Balsemão charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Balsemão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Lara got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Balsemão. After having played for 94 minutes, Reinaldo Dobbs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benfica VN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Dobbs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Benfica VN left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lara.
