Spectators: 8057 (Terracing: 6044, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Humberto Velasques made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Germano Borba notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lara's Lisandro Castelo Branco. Lisandro Castelo Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 6 minutes into the game, Hildeberto Portugal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Espinhel the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Portugal to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lara defense, Germano Borba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco. The Lara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Castelo Branco should have stopped the shot. Lisandro Castelo Branco came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Futebol Espinhel's Germano Borba. But to his dismay, Germano Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Lisandro Castelo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Borba in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Futebol Espinhel getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. David Rocha hit a great ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Vivaldo Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futebol Espinhel's Celso Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lara's Lisandro Castelo Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rocha in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Futebol Espinhel's Germano Borba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lisandro Castelo Branco. Lisandro Castelo Branco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The Futebol Espinhel fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Lisandro Castelo Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, Avelino Tomé dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lisandro Castelo Branco, 8-0. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Lisandro Castelo Branco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vivaldo Pimenta to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Lara's goal looked a bit too open when David Rocha came free, but Lisandro Castelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Humberto Velasques sped through Lara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco. In the 61st minute, Humberto Velasques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zarco Festas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lisandro Castelo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Germano Borba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Castelo Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Germano Borba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futebol Espinhel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. After 79 minutes of play, Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Castelo Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Germano Borba notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Lara's Lisandro Castelo Branco. Lisandro Castelo Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Futebol Espinhel getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Germano Borba hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Futebol Espinhel fully deserved thier win.
