Christoffer Grinden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Koumantarakis in the 17th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Christos Koumantarakis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 21 minutes into the match, Benfica VN's Christos Koumantarakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffer Grinden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Urban Myr notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Panteras FC's Christoffer Grinden. Christoffer Grinden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Christos Koumantarakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffer Grinden was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Benfica VN's Urban Myr got a free kick in the 26th minute. Batista Batistuta hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Benfica VN booed when Panteras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Lobato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Grinden made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Urban Myr sent off a good shot on target. Benfica VN's Mané Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Hamnberg in the 33rd minute of play. Urban Myr in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christoffer Grinden, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mané Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Lobato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urban Myr's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Christoffer Grinden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Delfim Quaresma fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Benfica VN's protests and gave Delfim Quaresma a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Benfica VN getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Delfim Quaresma hit a great ball. Urban Myr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Christoffer Grinden made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Urban Myr made the kick off in the second half. Christoffer Grinden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Koumantarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Christoffer Grinden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urban Myr went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Panteras FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Lobato in the 65th minute. Panteras FC's Christoffer Grinden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Myr in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Benfica VN. Reinaldo Dobbs stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christoffer Grinden. 6-0. Christos Koumantarakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Grinden having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Urban Myr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Christoffer Grinden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88thth minute of the game Christos Koumantarakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panteras FC's Christoffer Grinden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Panteras FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Carlos Costa hit a great ball. Christoffer Grinden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urban Myr's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
