Filip Gheorghiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassiano Paião in the 6th minute of play. Altino Malta kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Cassiano Paião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cidoes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassiano Paião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute of the match, Alexandre Paiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacinto Neto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cidoes FC's Alfredo Maltez got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Malukinho F.C.'s Plácido Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Cassiano Paião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Cidoes FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Almiro Viveiros. 38 minutes into the match, Almiro Viveiros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacinto Neto, 4-0. Alexandre Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Almiro Viveiros succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 42nd playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Maltez to strike the kick off in the second half. Cidoes FC's Jacinto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Paiva in the 55th minute of play. Jacinto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almiro Viveiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Almiro Viveiros notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Cidoes FC's Jacinto Neto. Jacinto Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Malukinho F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alexandre Paiva hit a great ball. Filip Gheorghiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Maltez, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jacinto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Paiva in the 69th minute of the match. Jacinto Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Plácido Cabral went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Cassiano Paião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filip Gheorghiu having to make a save. Yuri Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jacinto Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cassiano Paião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Américo Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alfredo Maltez came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cidoes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Maltez couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Neto having to interfere. The supporters of Malukinho F.C. booed when Cidoes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascoal Lage didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Malukinho F.C. were the better team. Malukinho F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
