The supporters of Futebol Espinhel booed when Ponta do Pargo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Fidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Humberto Velasques sped through Ponta do Pargo F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Higino Antas. A collision led to Ponta do Pargo F.C getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marcos Bento hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Ponta do Pargo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Velasques came free, but Higino Antas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponta do Pargo F.C's Higino Antas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Tomé in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes, David Rocha made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ponta do Pargo F.C's Higino Antas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ponta do Pargo F.C's Higino Antas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Tomé in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ponta do Pargo F.C defense, Humberto Velasques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higino Antas. The Ponta do Pargo F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higino Antas should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Humberto Velasques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higino Antas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 41 minutes into the game, Humberto Velasques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Higino Antas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the game, Futebol Espinhel's David Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higino Antas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Sampaio to make the kick off. If David Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Rocha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higino Antas came out and tried to block the shot, but David Rocha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 56th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game David Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponta do Pargo F.C's Higino Antas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Avelino Tomé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ponta do Pargo F.C booed when Futebol Espinhel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Germano Borba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Higino Antas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Higino Antas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Higino Antas came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Futebol Espinhel's Germano Borba. But to his dismay, Germano Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Germano Borba might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higino Antas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Borba ran back to his position shaking his head. Higino Antas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avelino Tomé, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Ponta do Pargo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Avelino Tomé came free, but Higino Antas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higino Antas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Velasques went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. The Ponta do Pargo F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Futebol Espinhel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
