In the 14th minute Manuel Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graciano Lustosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NinjaZ were furious when Zacarias Pádua was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 31st minute Nivaldo Miguéis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, NinjaZ's Yusuf Ziya Pyrev got a free kick in the 37th minute. Joaquim Gouveia's late challenge caught a NinjaZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Gouveia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Joaquim Gouveia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Rafael Regueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NinjaZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Regueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Nivaldo Miguéis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Rafael Regueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, White Star Barreiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Rafael Regueira notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of White Star Barreiro's Graciano Lustosa. Graciano Lustosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Graciano Lustosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Regueira in the 70th minute of the match. Graciano Lustosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Amaral went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes NinjaZ got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Caeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Torcato in the 82nd minute of play forced NinjaZ's goalkeeper Leandro Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If António Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Edgar Caeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NinjaZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
