After 12 played minutes G.D.os Boémios got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Severiano. 13 minutes into the game, GD Serra da Vila's Aquiles Abel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Angelo Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, G.D.os Boémios's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Paião came free, but Germano Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Veiga having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Regueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GD Serra da Vila's Aquiles Abel got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germano Veiga came out of the goal and Angelo Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Germano Veiga managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when GD Serra da Vila's Sebastião Paião fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
