Spectators: 7999 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) 2 minutes into the game, Dragon Blue's Sandro Soveral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Dragon Blue's zone, Manuel Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Quadros came out of the goal and Manuel Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Dragon Blue's goalkeeper Afonso Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Amaral. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Soveral in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, António Amaral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Afonso Quadros, 1-1. The supporters of Dragon Blue booed when NinjaZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarco Águas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Sandro Soveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Fernandes made a kick off. A collision led to Dragon Blue getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alexandre Avelar hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Soveral in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Pinho saved NinjaZ from getting behind. Dragon Blue's Sandro Soveral managed to work through NinjaZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sandro Soveral dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Afonso Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Amaral in the 60th minute of play. Leandro Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Soveral in the 63rd minute of play. Jaime Paião hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. António Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Quadros having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Dragon Blue got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Corte-Real. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Pádua during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Fernandes scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Sandro Soveral put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Pinho. If Humberto Fiúza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragon Blue succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though NinjaZ had controlled the match.
