Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Emilian Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip Kerri in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute Avery Novak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Baía saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rogério Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Chihuahua StrikerS™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Vidal couldn't finish the play. Rogério Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Erlingur Haaland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Fábio Silva pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Monroe Duvall fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caxias F.C.'s protests and gave Monroe Duvall a yellow card for diving instead. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Cláudio Lisboa was substituted for Fábio Silva. A collision led to Caxias F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Monroe Duvall hit a great ball. Avery Novak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilian Martinez made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Artun Aydın sent off a good shot on target. After 19 minutes, Rogério Vidal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Caxias F.C.'s Álvaro Baía tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute of the match, Moisés Caiado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emilian Martinez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Rogério Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldaír Perdigão kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Nélson Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Emilian Martinez made a huge save. Álvaro Baía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlingur Haaland in the 37th minute of play. Emilian Martinez was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Artun Aydın capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artun Aydın really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Vidal made a kick off. Álvaro Baía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avery Novak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caxias F.C.'s Álvaro Baía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Vidal in the 52nd minute of play. Rogério Vidal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Fernando Dantas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Erlingur Haaland made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Baía. Caxias F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With 65 minutes on the clock, Fábio Gouveia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Cai Xiang Bin was substituted for Rogério Vidal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chihuahua StrikerS™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Avery Novak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Baía having to interfere. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artun Aydın, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avery Novak got free with Álvaro Baía in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chihuahua StrikerS™ were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Caxias F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aldaír Perdigão took the corner. The corner led Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Aldaír Perdigão to fire away a dangerous shot which Álvaro Baía despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordão Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Monroe Duvall was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After 92 played minutes Caxias F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Monroe Duvall. The Chihuahua StrikerS™ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
