GD Fiães were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after SANFINS VLP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angélico Vilar took the corner. Alex Ibáñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 13 minutes, Tobias Brites made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SANFINS VLP's David Prada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tobias Brites had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Brites in the 16th minute of the match. Alex Ibáñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind SANFINS VLP's goalkeeper David Prada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Ibáñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Prada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Cassiano Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Wojno in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Eduardo Viana got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Tobias Brites had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Brites in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Prada saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. David Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Brites in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, GD Fiães's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Wojno came free, but Cassiano Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Ibáñez in the 43rd minute of play forced SANFINS VLP's goalkeeper David Prada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, GD Fiães's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Wojno came free, but Cassiano Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Ibáñez's late challenge caught a SANFINS VLP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Ibáñez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GD Fiães's Alex Ibáñez got a free kick in the 65th minute. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Tobias Brites took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for David Prada to make any attempt to save it. SANFINS VLP's David Prada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SANFINS VLP from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute Wojciech Wojno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cassiano Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SANFINS VLP's zone, Tobias Brites stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Prada came out of the goal and Tobias Brites tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GD Fiães made a substitution. Higino Alcântara replaced Severiano Calado. In the 85th match minute, SANFINS VLP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Estrada to maneuver through the defense. GD Fiães's Alex Ibáñez got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Prada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Ibáñez in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Alex Ibáñez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Prada. Alex Ibáñez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GD Fiães had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
