Álvaro Baía came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski. But to his dismay, Ziemowit Gdowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordão Valadares got free with Adrian Txindoki in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Álvaro Baía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Gdowski in the 27th minute of play. Viseu United were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Caxias F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruben Jurgi took the corner. The corner led Viseu United's Ulises Giménez to fire away a dangerous shot which Álvaro Baía despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Baía narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ziemowit Gdowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viseu United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ziemowit Gdowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Baía breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artun Aydın in the 34th minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Adrian Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Gdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Baía read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Álvaro Baía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ali Tayfur in the 38th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Martin Min put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viseu United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Adrian Txindoki had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Nazım Gümüş's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artun Aydın made a kick off. Adrian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordão Valadares in the 52nd minute of play. Yang Yu Yu charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yang Yu Yu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Yang Yu Yu. In the 54th minute Moisés Caiado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Moisés Caiado notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki. Adrian Txindoki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Artun Aydın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Txindoki was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Artun Aydın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viseu United made a substitution. Adrian Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip Kerri in the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caxias F.C.'s zone, Moisés Fragoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Baía came out of the goal and Moisés Fragoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Caiado, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Viseu United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
