The corner led to SC Hooligans's André Pais getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Martinho Sobral struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Álvaro Baía didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Hooligans. 28 minutes into the match, Éder Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Baía. Caxias F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Éder Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Álvaro Baía didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Peixoto went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Álvaro Baía didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Hooligans's Éder Castro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Caxias F.C. booed when SC Hooligans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 79th minute Éder Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Baía saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Baía showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martinho Sobral, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. SC Hooligans had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
