Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loukianos Livas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Carmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Antoine Brillet in the 14th minute of the match. Palmiro Leite's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Maia firmly grabbed it by the left post. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lince FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Falcão was slow to take the kick. During this time Ponte do Carro's players had a chance to rest. Ponte do Carro's Luís Falcão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Maia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22nd play minutes Loukianos Livas shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Maia and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 25th match minute, Lince FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Travassos to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Cortez couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loukianos Livas's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Loukianos Livas scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lince FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
