After taking down the ball on FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4's corner Juvenal Gomes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Fabiano Arantes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th minute, Teodor Mavrogheni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cullen Toomey took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Souto. Norberto Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Cullen Toomey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Bernardo Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fabiano Arantes. The goal made the score 1-1. Damião Palmeira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the LISSaint FC defense, Ilídio Menezes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fabiano Arantes. The LISSaint FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fabiano Arantes should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Ilídio Menezes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Fabiano Arantes, 3-1. Aydin Blunk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Souto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Chu Ling Qian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cullen Toomey managed to get in a good position for a shot. LISSaint FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cullen Toomey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabiano Cesário made a kick off. In the 52nd minute FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 were awarded a corner. Juvenal Gomes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Juvenal Gomes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fabiano Arantes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after LISSaint FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juvenal Gomes took the corner. After 54 minutes LISSaint FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juvenal Gomes who took care of the corner kick. FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4's Juvenal Gomes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luiz Fabiano Arantes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Ilídio Menezes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Teodor Mavrogheni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
