Spectators: 8469 (Terracing: 6353, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Madruga started the match with the kick off. Cüneyd Bektaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Valério in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, André Bomba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Massa in the 10th minute of play forced SC Prestimo's goalkeeper Claudinei Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Adão Brandão fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Prestimo's protests and gave Adão Brandão a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Machada FC booed when SC Prestimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adão Brandão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Portugal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hipólito Conde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Andreas Ahlstedt fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Prestimo's protests and gave Andreas Ahlstedt a yellow card for diving instead. André Bomba struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Claudinei Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machada FC. André Bomba in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudinei Carvalho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, SC Prestimo's Rafael Peseiro got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Madruga in the 34th minute of play forced SC Prestimo's goalkeeper Claudinei Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Machada FC's Severino Madruga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinei Carvalho. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. A collision led to Machada FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Roger Clapham hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipólito Conde made a kick off. In the 58th minute, André Bomba made a precise shot to the right of Claudinei Carvalho. SC Prestimo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Claudinei Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Madruga went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Cüneyd Bektaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Ahlstedt in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Machada FC's André Bomba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Machada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipólito Conde came free, but Cüneyd Bektaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Bomba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Madruga in the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Severino Madruga notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of SC Prestimo's Claudinei Carvalho. Claudinei Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Bomba scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to SC Prestimo getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. João Muniz hit a great ball. SC Prestimo's Claudinei Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Madruga in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Machada FC fully deserved thier win.
