In the 6th minute, André Bomba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lince FC's zone, Severino Madruga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Maia came out of the goal and Severino Madruga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jonathan Maia made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, André Bomba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Bomba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Lince FC's Jonathan Maia got control of the ball when André Bomba tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Antoine Brillet in the 23rd minute of play forced Machada FC's goalkeeper Cüneyd Bektaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Severino Madruga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lince FC's Jonathan Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Antoine Brillet in the 27th minute of play forced Machada FC's goalkeeper Cüneyd Bektaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cüneyd Bektaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Antoine Brillet went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Severino Madruga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Maia was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Alberto Portugal took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jonathan Maia to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Madruga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Machada FC's Alberto Portugal got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Tarcisio Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Antoine Brillet in the 43rd minute of play forced Machada FC's goalkeeper Cüneyd Bektaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Lince FC got a corner. Machada FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arkādijs Ulms ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 45 played minutes Machada FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Madruga. After having played for 46 minutes, Pierre-Antoine Brillet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lince FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Antoine Brillet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabino Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Machada FC's goalkeeper Cüneyd Bektaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Antoine Brillet. In the 53rd minute, Alberto Portugal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Machada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jonathan Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 63rd minute, Sabino Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Tarcisio Couto with Alberto Portugal as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Madruga in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Severino Madruga came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Machada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Madruga couldn't finish the play. Alberto Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jonathan Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Couto got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by André Bomba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Madruga in the 82nd minute of play forced Lince FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Machada FC's Severino Madruga made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Lince FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Bomba came free, but Jonathan Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lince FC's Jonathan Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Bomba in the 96th minute of play.
