Josué Pedroso hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Machada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Veiga came free, but Cüneyd Bektaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Portugal in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Machada FC booed when Cassandros Elite Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Cassandros Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by Panit Varela. Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Madruga in the 24th minute of play. Machada FC's Tarcisio Couto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lisandro Guerreiro, made in the 25th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Guerreiro during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lisandro Guerreiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Josué Pedroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Madruga was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Alberto Portugal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Olavo Pinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 56 minutes of play, Machada FC's André Bomba made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavo Pinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rolf Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Portugal in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute Jairo Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyd Bektaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Pedroso in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cüneyd Bektaş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Josué Pedroso sped through Machada FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cüneyd Bektaş. In the 72nd minute, Ogün Sarper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Cassandros Elite Team from getting a goal against them.
