One of ABELHEIRA.FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Solpontense F.C.:s goal. When Solpontense F.C.'s Palmiro Fidalgo in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ABELHEIRA.FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 played minutes ABELHEIRA.FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Moutinho. Amos Iannucci came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Solpontense F.C.'s Igor Martins. But to his dismay, Igor Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Igor Martins struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Amos Iannucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solpontense F.C.. Solpontense F.C. were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after ABELHEIRA.FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Paredes took the corner. Amos Iannucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Martins in the 31st minute of play. Amos Iannucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Palmiro Fidalgo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Solpontense F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquim Lopes was slow to take the kick. During this time ABELHEIRA.FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Jairo Gomes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 36 minutes, Jairo Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABELHEIRA.FC and the Solpontense F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amos Iannucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmiro Fidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Martins in the 42nd minute of play forced ABELHEIRA.FC's goalkeeper Amos Iannucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Moutinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Vieira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Amos Iannucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palmiro Fidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palmiro Fidalgo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amos Iannucci. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Moutinho made a kick off. Amos Iannucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palmiro Fidalgo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Palmiro Fidalgo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABELHEIRA.FC's Amos Iannucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ABELHEIRA.FC's Amos Iannucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verne Couzens in the 56th minute of play. Palmiro Fidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, ABELHEIRA.FC's Amos Iannucci got control of the ball when Igor Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Porfírio Rebelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Vieira having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match Solpontense F.C. got a corner. ABELHEIRA.FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Paredes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arul Tomagola missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 90 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Amos Iannucci right hand side. In the 93rd minute Solpontense F.C. were awarded a corner. Luís Paredes went to the cornerflag to take it. Luís Paredes made a great header on Solpontense F.C.'s corner, it was just that ABELHEIRA.FC's Amos Iannucci managed to reach the ball for a save. After 95 minutes, Palmiro Fidalgo made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. ABELHEIRA.FC's Amos Iannucci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Solpontense F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
