After a rather tough play, Solpontense F.C.'s Juliano Torres got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, SC Tornado's goal looked a bit too open when Verne Couzens came free, but Vítor Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Solpontense F.C. booed when SC Tornado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octávio Trindade during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Octávio Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Palmiro Fidalgo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Solpontense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palmiro Fidalgo couldn't finish the play. Solpontense F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
