Larry Saldaña hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Lusos Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Tuste came free, but Marco Bülow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Bülow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Silveira in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão Padilha in the 27th minute of play forced Mirante da Portela's goalkeeper Ştefan Zub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Bülow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Augusto Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Zub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sabino Leitão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ştefan Zub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute, Reginaldo Moutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lusos Crew fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ştefan Zub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estevão Padilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Leoni kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mirante da Portela's Marco Bülow threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armindo Silveira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Lusos Crew's Marco Bülow got control of the ball when Saul Tuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Armindo Silveira notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lusos Crew's Marco Bülow. Marco Bülow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Mirante da Portela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mirante da Portela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
