The corner led Lusos Crew's Paulino Ferreira to fire away a dangerous shot which Laureano Rijo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Augusto Portugal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of A.D.ESMOJÃES's Laureano Rijo. Laureano Rijo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Lusos Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Bulhosa came free, but Marco Bülow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lusos Crew's Estevão Padilha got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Cassiano Brochado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Bülow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Bülow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassiano Brochado's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Cassiano Brochado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Bülow. Cassiano Brochado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lusos Crew's Marco Bülow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Garcia in the 67th minute of play. Marco Bülow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Bulhosa in the 70th minute of play. Marco Bülow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Póvoas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the match A.D.ESMOJÃES got a corner. Lusos Crew's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateus Baldaia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Laureano Rijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Rijo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Estevão Padilha sent off a good shot on target.
