Luís Caeiro struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Francisco Infante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. Francisco Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 14th minute of the match. Anselmo Domingos took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Luís Caeiro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the VB-Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Caeiro couldn't finish the play. Francisco Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 21st minute of the match. Joaquim de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Infante having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Caetano Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gervásio Severiano fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VB-Team's protests and gave Gervásio Severiano a yellow card for diving instead. Gervásio Severiano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Francisco Infante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim de Barros went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herberto Caiado made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Domingos came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luís Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Herberto Caiado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Luís Caeiro. The corner led Lima Team's Herberto Caiado to fire away a dangerous shot which Armindo Salgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberto Caiado in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Herberto Caiado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Lima Team booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shao Kun Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Barroso in the 86th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Jacob Barroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacob Barroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Caetano Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
