Seating: 1939, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dario Orlan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Sourpis in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, MC ESPANHOL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vitor Roque fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Porfírio Espírito Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Sourpis in the 12th minute of play forced Bembenfica's goalkeeper Alípio Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teófilo Belém made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Dario Orlan sent off a good shot on target. Alípio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Sourpis in the 21st minute of play. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Iordan in the 23rd minute of play. Vitor Roque was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alípio Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Serpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match MC ESPANHOL got a corner. Bembenfica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aldo Giovannelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bembenfica's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiberiu Iordan made a kick off. The supporters of MC ESPANHOL booed when Bembenfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Icang Wanandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alípio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Iordan in the 55th minute of play. Tiberiu Iordan took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alípio Rego. Alípio Rego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Serpa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alípio Rego was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Sourpis in the 67th minute of play. Alípio Rego made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tiberiu Iordan sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute of the match, Virgílio Serpa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alípio Rego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Alípio Rego managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when MC ESPANHOL's Tiberiu Iordan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 81 minutes into the match, MC ESPANHOL's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Orlan came free, but Teófilo Belém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alípio Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Ribeiro in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Aldo Giovannelli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bembenfica's Alípio Rego didn't even have to move. A collision led to MC ESPANHOL getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Aldo Giovannelli hit a great ball. Teófilo Belém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfírio Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 98th minute, Florian Terrasi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bembenfica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
