Qin Ang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberto Caiado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Jacob Barroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qin Ang Cheng. Internacional de Lisboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacob Barroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Hendrik Saarberg in the 31st minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Abel Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Raimundo Cerqueira got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Jacob Barroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Qin Ang Cheng was relentless in the 55th minute of the game.
