Wanderson Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilhelm Bure having to make a save. In the 13th minute Ruben Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Sagrario to make the kick off. Rogelio Sagrario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Sandro Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Bure prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gentil Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Alumiara SD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
