In the 13thth minute of the game Nuno Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Matos Velhos's Henrique Candal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiago Rodrigues. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the game, Henrique Candal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiago Rodrigues. Henrique Candal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Fhury FC's Tiago Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 27th minute of play. Vito de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Barbosa in the 29th minute of play.
