Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vaz FC's Vladimiro Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Nass in the 16th minute of play. Manuel Moita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paco Nass got free with Vladimiro Medeiros in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladimiro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Nass in the 29th minute of play. Diogo Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Xabel in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Vladimiro Medeiros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 39th minute of the match A.D.E.Penamacorense got a corner. Vaz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose Murillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cristiano Viegas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vladimiro Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Vaz FC's Vladimiro Medeiros got control of the ball when Sílvio Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Cristiano Viegas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimiro Medeiros. The goal made the score 3-0. With a little luck, Vaz FC's Vladimiro Medeiros got control of the ball when Paco Nass tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Viegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Vaz FC's Ricardo Mourinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D.E.Penamacorense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caio Liberato was slow to take the kick. During this time Vaz FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Vaz FC's corner Caio Liberato fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diogo Castro quite easily take care of the ball. Teodor Cercel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Diogo Castro made a huge save. Vladimiro Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Vladimiro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Nass in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Flavio Xabel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diogo Castro. The goal made the score 3-1. Vladimiro Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paco Nass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paco Nass in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gunnar Rydberg during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gunnar Rydberg hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Paco Nass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Viegas in the 84th minute of play forced Vaz FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Vaz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Figueiras to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Amaro in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Nass in the 91st minute of play forced Vaz FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
