With a left leg Vladimiro Medeiros saved Vaz FC from getting behind. A collision led to Vaz FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. David Teixeira hit a great ball. Kevin Quintanilha hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Ricardo Mourinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Bessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marco Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Xabel in the 22nd minute of play. Vladimiro Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Paul Mussett sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Teodor Cercel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Januário Domingos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vladimiro Medeiros firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Vladimiro Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when AD Pontassolense's Januário Domingos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ricardo Mourinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Mourinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Quintanilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Medeiros made a huge save. When Ricardo Mourinho came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Vaz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Mourinho couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Januário Domingos could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Vladimiro Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. Vladimiro Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe Catarinense went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Vladimiro Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Quintanilha in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Flavio Xabel made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Teodor Cercel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AD Pontassolense's Marco Bessa. Marco Bessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Vaz FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Januário Domingos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Catarinense in the 62nd minute of the match. Vaz FC's Vladimiro Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Quintanilha in the 63rd minute of play. Vladimiro Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Januário Domingos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
