After taking down the ball on Borlas's corner Alexandre Barroso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clemente Simão quite easily take care of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Borlas's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Igrejas came free, but Alcino Granja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidónio Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Borlas's Alcino Granja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柯辉崇 in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Academia Ansião's Alcino Granja threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petar Musa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute Bóas Ratas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25thth minute of the game Cláudio Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Ansião's Clemente Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Domingues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Domingues's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. Academia Ansião's Clemente Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Academia Ansião from getting a goal against them. Bóas Ratas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Simão having to interfere. Clemente Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bóas Ratas in the 56th minute of the match. Bóas Ratas took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Simão. Clemente Simão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cláudio Domingues kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 60thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Academia Ansião's keeper Clemente Simão was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Domingues got free with Clemente Simão in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Cláudio Domingues put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Clemente Simão. Borlas's Cláudio Domingues came free and shot a quick shot against goal 66 minutes in the game, fortunately Clemente Simão had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Borlas's Bóas Ratas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match Borlas got a corner. Academia Ansião's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexandre Barroso ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Bóas Ratas at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Academia Ansião. 1-3. The corner ended in Alexandre Barroso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia Ansião's Clemente Simão did a great save. Cláudio Domingues's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Clemente Simão firmly grabbed it by the left post. Academia Ansião's Clemente Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Ansião from getting a goal against them. Augusto Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Clemente Simão made a huge save. The Borlas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borlas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
