Renato Aragão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Cecilio Polo made a huge save. Cecilio Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateus Casado in the 20th minute. Cecilio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Vilas Boas in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Aragão got free with Cecilio Polo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervásio Palhares's late challenge caught a Piao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
