The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Leal in the 8th minute of play forced LANDINHO F.C.'s goalkeeper Gaizkine Nobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, LANDINHO F.C.'s Victorino Peru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrique Tinoco. Henrique Tinoco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, one of Hiperbórea:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Henrique Tinoco, was totally fooled by LANDINHO F.C.'s Victorino Peru, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 21st match minute, LANDINHO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Peru to maneuver through the defense. Gaizkine Nobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, LANDINHO F.C.'s Germano Domingues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrique Tinoco. Henrique Tinoco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. If Bastiaan Moorlag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Wladyslaw Pozorski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henrique Tinoco. The goal made the score 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as LANDINHO F.C.'s Victorino Peru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrique Tinoco. That made the score 5-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 39th minute, Gaspar Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Victorino Peru made the kick off in the second half. When LANDINHO F.C.'s Germano Domingues in 51 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Henrique Tinoco guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Henrique Tinoco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bastiaan Moorlag went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute of the match, Paulo Leal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaizkine Nobo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 58th minute, Joel Malta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Hiperbórea defense, Bastiaan Moorlag kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Tinoco. The Hiperbórea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Hiperbórea made a substitution. Rui Trindade replaced Vladimiro Caires. In the 72nd minute Victorino Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Sidónio Candeias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LANDINHO F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Henrique Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torcato Pessoa in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Bastiaan Moorlag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 石德远 struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gaizkine Nobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hiperbórea. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LANDINHO F.C. fully deserved thier win.
