No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bizi Baza made a kick off. Henk Pijps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belchior Ribeiro in the 52nd minute of the match. Henk Pijps made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josué Campelo in the 56th minute. SC Grimancelos's Henk Pijps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Ribeiro in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Claudemiro Roriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bizi Baza took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Idalécio Carrasqueira. Idalécio Carrasqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Idalécio Carrasqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gentil Vieira in the 67th minute of play. Idalécio Carrasqueira came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Grimancelos's Gentil Vieira. But to his dismay, Gentil Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bizi Baza in the 71st minute of play forced SC Atabueira's goalkeeper Idalécio Carrasqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Grimancelos's Olgierd Ziemniak was substituted for Diego Pestana. Idalécio Carrasqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Saint-Germain, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute of the match Hugon Bryk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henk Pijps showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Atabueira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
