The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Josh Jeffries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesualdo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Prada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgílio Carvalho went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, C U D Leverense's Constantin Bojincă got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind malaiko's goalkeeper Henrique Prada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Bojincă to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Avelar in the 52nd minute of play forced malaiko's goalkeeper Henrique Prada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantin Bojincă in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Prada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Prada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tiago Avelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. C U D Leverense's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Avelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Prada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 石朗思 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jesualdo Ferreira made a huge save. Henrique Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Carvalho in the 65th minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind malaiko's goalkeeper Henrique Prada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Abel Ferreira in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C U D Leverense's Márcio Rios. After 92 played minutes C U D Leverense got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Rios. Teofilo Cubillas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Jesualdo Ferreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C U D Leverense had won after a very even match.
