After 8 minutes of play, Marcosta F.C's Evaristo Moreno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Idalécio Carrasqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evaristo Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Idalécio Carrasqueira having to make a save. Idalécio Carrasqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Evaristo Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Carrasqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altino Santarém came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Atabueira's Belchior Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Belchior Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Idalécio Carrasqueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Moreno's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 25 minutes of play, Marcosta F.C's Evaristo Moreno made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Idalécio Carrasqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcosta F.C's Iwo Zacharzewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Reinaldo Veríssimo in the 29 minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Marcosta F.C's Evaristo Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Idalécio Carrasqueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Evaristo Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Idalécio Carrasqueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Altino Santarém made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Belchior Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, Marcosta F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Estrela to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Atabueira's Odín Wallffiguer got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Marcosta F.C were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lars-Erik Pil made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odín Wallffiguer in the 50th minute of play forced Marcosta F.C's goalkeeper Altino Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lars-Erik Pil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Idalécio Carrasqueira was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Marcosta F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iwo Zacharzewski in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Lars-Erik Pil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Odín Wallffiguer notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Marcosta F.C's Altino Santarém. Altino Santarém was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Odín Wallffiguer in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altino Santarém saved Marcosta F.C from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Moreno in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Idalécio Carrasqueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When SC Atabueira's Odín Wallffiguer, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SC Atabueira. Evaristo Moreno came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Idalécio Carrasqueira could save by the left post. Odín Wallffiguer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Altino Santarém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. SC Atabueira were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Marcosta F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugon Bryk took the corner. After taking down the ball on SC Atabueira's corner Odín Wallffiguer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Altino Santarém quite easily take care of the ball. SC Atabueira's Alexandre Azevedo was substituted for Belchior Ribeiro. Evaristo Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Idalécio Carrasqueira made a huge save. The supporters of SC Atabueira booed when Marcosta F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Pil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcosta F.C's Altino Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Azevedo in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, SC Atabueira's Jaime Eiró sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Altino Santarém narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcosta F.C's Altino Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Eiró in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Campelo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altino Santarém saved Marcosta F.C from getting behind. Josué Campelo spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Marcosta F.C's goal. After some careless play in the Marcosta F.C defense, Josué Campelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Altino Santarém. The Marcosta F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Altino Santarém should have stopped the shot. Lars-Erik Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Idalécio Carrasqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Evaristo Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Idalécio Carrasqueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Atabueira were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
