The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivo Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Amado in the 10th minute of play. Raul Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Freiburg 09 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mehmet Ferit İsmet hit a great ball. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Helwig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 09's Abílio Passos got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd of the match, Raul Leal tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Josué Linhares got in the way and made a wonderful save. Honorato Assis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Amado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, FC Vamos a ver's Laureano Amado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Guterres was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Vamos a ver were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after SC Freiburg 09's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laureano Amado took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Laureano Amado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivo Guterres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 39th minute, Gregório Setúbal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Guterres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 41 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Amado came free, but Ivo Guterres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abílio Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Raul Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Linhares was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half FC Vamos a ver were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53rd play minutes David Helwig shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Ivo Guterres and just under the crossbar into goal. Ivo Guterres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Amado in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, David Helwig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vamos a ver's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Helwig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josué Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abílio Passos in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Raul Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Freiburg 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 09's Máximo Lameiras got a free kick in the 89th minute. Raul Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué Linhares having to make a save.
