Spectators: 9239 (Terracing: 6930, Seating: 2125, VIP seats: 184) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Murilo Fernandes made the kick off which started today's match. Samuel Fiúza came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by mar-azul's Roberto Pacheco. But to his dismay, Roberto Pacheco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Fernandes. 12 minutes into the match, mar-azul's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Estevão Lemos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiang De sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuel Fiúza made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Murilo Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Augustin Panaiteanu came free in the 21st minute and tried to tip the ball over Estevão Lemos, but to the joy of mar-azul's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Roberto Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. mar-azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Fiúza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 minutes, Roberto Pacheco made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gremio Viana's attentive Amado Melo managed to snatch the ball when Adelino Palmeira made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute Jiang De shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevão Lemos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Roberto Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Fiúza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gremio Viana's Tony Påk got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Fernandes got free with Samuel Fiúza in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Pacheco in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Fiúza saved Gremio Viana from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Samuel Fiúza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Fernandes in the 55th minute of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Murilo Fernandes sped through Gremio Viana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Fiúza. Samuel Fiúza came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by mar-azul's Ahmet Turan Ayberk. But to his dismay, Ahmet Turan Ayberk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 63rd minute Roberto Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Fiúza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's Jiang De sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Estevão Lemos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiang De during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Jiang De hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Fernandes in the 67th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Turan Ayberk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samuel Fiúza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ahmet Turan Ayberk took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Fiúza. Samuel Fiúza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Antonio Calisto replaced Tony Påk. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Carlos Luna replaced Jiang De. Gremio Viana's Mohamed Ali Bomba was substituted for Severino Torcato. Samuel Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Carlos Luna's late challenge caught a mar-azul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Luna helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Luna hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gremio Viana defense, Ahmet Turan Ayberk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Fiúza. The Gremio Viana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Fiúza should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that mar-azul were the better team. mar-azul's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
