Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Jones in the 3rd minute of the match. With his leg Rodrigo Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Lisboa FC's Eduardo Roriz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Veloso came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisboa FC's Adalberto Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Paredes in the 11th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Joaquim Paredes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adalberto Pacheco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adalberto Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Paredes in the 17th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Brandão in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Machados FC V2's Oliver Schütze. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lisboa FC's goalkeeper Adalberto Pacheco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Machados FC V2's Grzegorz Piesciuk got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivo Veloso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Lima came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivo Veloso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. Machados FC V2's Remzi Bozlak managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulo Brandão in the 29 minute of the game. 31 minutes into the game, Paulo Brandão threw the ball into play from the sideline. Machados FC V2's Oliver Schütze quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joaquim Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adalberto Pacheco having to make a save. Adalberto Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Paredes in the 31st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Lisboa FC's Rodrigo Lima threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivo Veloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquim Paredes took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalberto Pacheco. Adalberto Pacheco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Veloso in the 38th minute of play. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Veloso in the 40th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Paredes made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Lisboa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Paredes came free, but Adalberto Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Machados FC V2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Joanny to maneuver through the defense. When Gez Jones came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Lisboa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gez Jones couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Veloso in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Veloso came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Roriz in the 58th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Eduardo Roriz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 64 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Veloso came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Machados FC V2 getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Joaquim Paredes hit a great ball. Machados FC V2's António Varanda was substituted for Joaquim Paredes. After 67 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Paredes. 70 minutes into the match, António Varanda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adalberto Pacheco. Lisboa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Varanda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Enzo Quintas charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Quintas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enzo Quintas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Roriz in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Österlund in the 80th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Brandão made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Machados FC V2's Remzi Bozlak. António Varanda kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Oliver Schütze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Machados FC V2 were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Lisboa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernand Joanny took the corner. Grzegorz Piesciuk was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 90th minute, Paulo Brandão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grzegorz Piesciuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Österlund in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Evert Österlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Lima was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th minute António Varanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Fernand Joanny. Chants of Machados FC V2 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Lisboa FC had held the ball for most of the match.
