Spectators: 9275 (Terracing: 6958, Seating: 2133, VIP seats: 184) Miroslav Klose started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joaquim Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Joaquim Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristopher Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Paredes came free, but Kristopher Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Klose in the 8th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristopher Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Paredes in the 10th minute of play. Miroslav Klose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Paredes came free, but Kristopher Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Silva got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Miroslav Klose. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Klose in the 35th minute of play. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Machados FC V2 were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pascoal Espírito Santo took the corner. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ilídio Abrantes hit a great ball. After 54 minutes QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernand Joanny who took care of the corner kick. In the 55th match minute, Machados FC V2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remzi Bozlak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Tham in the 57th minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Tham took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristopher Johnson. Kristopher Johnson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Machados FC V2 made a substitution. Enzo Soveral replaced Enzo Quintas. Machados FC V2 made a substitution. António Varanda replaced Joaquim Paredes. The throw-in from Béla Drechsler in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Diamantino Vilela. After a rather tough play, Machados FC V2's Remzi Bozlak got a free kick in the 71st minute. Kristopher Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Varanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, António Varanda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machados FC V2's supporters rose to their feet, but António Varanda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristopher Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s José Guimarães was substituted for Gigel Durbac. Kristopher Johnson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Machados FC V2's António Varanda. But to his dismay, António Varanda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 96th minute of the match, Miroslav Klose tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Lima saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
