The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, D.P.Aarburg's Roch Tepper got a free kick in the 3rd minute. D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Pinho in the 11th minute of play. After 26 played minutes D.P.Aarburg got a freekick which was hit by Almiro Medeiros. 40 minutes into the match, Lidador F.C.'s goalkeeper Tamás Albert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Fulanito. In a very dangerous position, a player in D.P.Aarburg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! When Aldo Brás fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lidador F.C.'s protests and gave Aldo Brás a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Lidador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Brás to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Pinho was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Danilo Pinho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valentin Bujor, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Pinho in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Bujor saved D.P.Aarburg from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Angélico Palma in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lidador F.C.'s Aldo Brás. A collision led to D.P.Aarburg getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Roch Tepper hit a great ball. Danilo Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Bujor having to interfere. Delfim Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Valentin Bujor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tamás Albert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Fulanito in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, D.P.Aarburg's David Peralta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Lidador F.C.'s Danilo Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angélico Palma made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which David Peralta however managed to control. 81 minutes into the match, Lidador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Fulanito came free, but Tamás Albert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Bujor having to make a save. Danilo Pinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valentin Bujor firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lidador F.C.'s attentive Aldo Brás managed to snatch the ball when Angélico Palma made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. With his leg Valentin Bujor managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Lidador F.C.'s Danilo Pinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 94th minute of the match Lidador F.C. got a corner. D.P.Aarburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alcino Malafaia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lidador F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
