In the 4th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas made a precise shot to the right of Zula Kosiorek. Madvik FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Laçın Cumayev made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Laércio Resende sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Toscano. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Veloso in the 10th minute of play. Laçın Cumayev made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gaspar Veloso sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Zigmantas Gimbutas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zula Kosiorek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noel Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laçın Cumayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Madvik FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Carlos Félix in the 31st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SC Braga's goalie and right to Gaspar Veloso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SC Braga's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 33rd match minute, Madvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Seixas to maneuver through the defense. Zigmantas Gimbutas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zula Kosiorek having to make a save. Madvik FC's Zula Kosiorek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zula Kosiorek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Toscano in the 46th minute of the match. With a little luck, SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev got control of the ball when Noel Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Madvik FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Braga were winning 0-1.

54 minutes into the match, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zula Kosiorek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zula Kosiorek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Noel Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laçın Cumayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Mattsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zula Kosiorek, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Madvik FC's goalkeeper Zula Kosiorek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Braga eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
