After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Filipe Veiga got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Valdomiro Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 周益亦 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 周益亦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Ɍυƒυs™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Vilhena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 24th minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper 周益亦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laçın Cumayev made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ivan Vilhena sent off a good shot on target. 周益亦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 30th minute of play. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Vilhena in the 32nd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Jesualdo Avelar with Ludvig Groth as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Laçın Cumayev made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ivan Vilhena sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the game, Ivan Vilhena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Laçın Cumayev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

周益亦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Zigmantas Gimbutas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zigmantas Gimbutas couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Filipe Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Benjamin de Lara. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Alberto Malheiro with Stig-Åke Mattsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 71st minute Ivan Vilhena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
