Laçın Cumayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by 沈克斌 in the 5th minute. SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquilino Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 7th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, 沈克斌 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev. Laçın Cumayev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Braga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin de Lara in the 20th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Pipis Dilberis to score against Aquilino Etxeberri in Clube Oriental de Lisboa's goal. 1-1 after 20 minutes. In the 24thth minute of the game Zigmantas Gimbutas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Oriental de Lisboa's Aquilino Etxeberri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Braga were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Clube Oriental de Lisboa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin de Lara took the corner. The corner led SC Braga's Benjamin de Lara to fire away a dangerous shot which Aquilino Etxeberri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Etxeberri. Clube Oriental de Lisboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zigmantas Gimbutas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 31st minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Etxeberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 沈克斌's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Laçın Cumayev firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Oriental de Lisboa's goalkeeper Aquilino Etxeberri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Zigmantas Gimbutas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Aquilino Etxeberri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceyhan Kuluk in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Pipis Dilberis hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 沈克斌 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Benjamin de Lara got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 59 minutes of play, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Etxeberri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when 沈克斌 came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Braga made a substitution. Stig-Åke Mattsson replaced Zigmantas Gimbutas. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Benjamin de Lara. Clube Oriental de Lisboa made a substitution. Murilo Baptista replaced Borys Czysta. 72 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Mattsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Etxeberri. Clube Oriental de Lisboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Åke Mattsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. A collision led to Clube Oriental de Lisboa getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lordi 关平 hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. In the 79th minute 沈克斌 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Oriental de Lisboa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jon-Egil Sætre was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jon-Egil Sætre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube Oriental de Lisboa's Aquilino Etxeberri did a great save. 89 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Clube Oriental de Lisboa's 沈克斌 fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 毛邦皓 took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laçın Cumayev. Laçın Cumayev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-7. The SC Braga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Braga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
